
The Story of Madame Gateaux
Some people have always known what their calling is. Executive Pastry Chef, artist, and instructor, Tracy Celentano, realized her passion for pastry arts and decorating cakes at an early age. By high school she was already well established in her community and creating beautiful works of art for her family and friends. The acclaimed Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island provided the professional foundation and Chef Tracy earned her degree in International Baking and Pastry Arts. Next an internship at Hotel du Pont Wilmington, DE., where she apprenticed under a master pastry chef, who led Tracy and her team to enter the ACF Delaware Valley Chef's Association Food Show where she won a Gold medal for three entries. Chef Tracy has been an award winning pastry chef ever since.
Her artistry in pastry arts has won gold, silver and bronze in competitions that range from state and regional competition to the national stage with organizations such as the Societe Culiniary Philanthropic and the American Culinary Federation Gold Medal in her category. Tracy's weddings were featured in Connecticut Bride magazine. In Spring/Summer 2012 issue, a "Monet" style and in the Fall/Winter 2019 featured a gothic style cake. ​

We are open Tuesday-Saturday for pick-up and consultations are by appointment only.
