Executive Pastry Chef, Tracy Celentano

Some people have always known what their calling is. Executive Pastry Chef, artist, and instructor, Tracy Celentano, realized her passion for pastry arts and decorating cakes at an early age. By high school she was already well established in her community and creating beautiful works of art for her family and friends. The acclaimed Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island provided the professional foundation and Chef Tracy earned her degree in International Baking and Pastry Arts. Next an internship at Hotel du Pont Wilmington, DE., where she apprenticed under Gunther Heiland, led Tracy to enter the ACF Delaware valley Chef's Association food show where she won a Gold medal for three entries. Chef Tracy has been an award winning pastry chef ever since.

Her artisty in pastry arts has won gold, silver and bronze in competitions that range from state and regional competition to the national stage with organizations such as the Societe Culiniare Philanthropic and the American Culinary Federation. Her wedding cake styled in the "Monet" tradition was featured in Connecticut Bride Magazine in the spring/summer issue 2012.

Her passion for delicious, elegant, and creative cakes are second only to her skill and expertise working with various medium such as sugar, chocolate, pastiche, air brush, and piping. Her edible art is some of the most realistic jewelry, sugar flowers, lace, pearls, or specialty items that are created to refelct your individual style.

Her entrepreneurial spirit has lead to a long established business offering elegant and delicious custom cakes as well as personalized 1-1 instruction for aspiring pastry chefs.

Chef Tracy shares her passion and expertise with aspiring pastry chefs, or any one wishing to enhance their decorating or pastry skills. She has mentored many students into award winning pastry chefs in their own right.
